I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support as I embark on this historic journey to run for State Representative of Michigan District 5. I am Kevin Keys III, and with your help, we can bring about real change and make a lasting impact on our community. 

First and foremost, I want to take a moment to share a little about my background and why this campaign means so much to me. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, I am a proud product of the Oak Park School District. Throughout my upbringing, my family instilled in me the belief that we all have the power to effect change and improve the lives of those around us. It was this belief that led me to co-found Young People 4 Change during high school, an organization dedicated to fighting against victimization and promoting education, voting, and women's rights. 

My journey led me to Miles College in Fairfield, Alabama, where I received a degree in Political Science. I now attend Texas Southern University where I will receive my Masters of education in educational administration with a concentration in higher education human resources. Despite my young age, my determination has driven me to achieve significant milestones on campus, including serving in several roles of the Miles College Student Government Association and becoming a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated and the Regional 2nd Vice Director of the southern region. I've also been honored to receive recognition from notable figures such as David Banner and esteemed organizations like the NAACP. 

None of this would be possible without the incredible support of individuals like you. Your belief in me and the vision we share for a better future is what fuels my drive every day. But to truly make history and bring about the change we desire, we need more than just support – we need action. 

The importance of donations and volunteer efforts cannot be overstated. Your financial contributions enable us to reach more voters, spread our message, and engage with the community effectively. Every dollar counts and makes a difference in the success of our campaign. Moreover, volunteering your time and expertise will help us build a robust and vibrant movement capable of making a real impact. I want to emphasize that this is a historic moment for all of us. At just 21 years old, I am honored to stand as a candidate for State Representative, and with your support, we can demonstrate that age is no barrier to creating positive change and advocating for our community's interests.

However, the journey doesn't end with financial contributions and volunteer work. It continues at the ballot box. Voting is the ultimate expression of our collective voice, and it is crucial that we all get out there and cast our ballots on election day.
